Had this backpack for a few years now and it’s held up well. Lots of space, good for work and school. I’ve taken it traveling on long trips and it’s held up and has a good amount of space for all my things. There is some nice padding around the slot where you can put your laptop or other device. It’s taken a few spills off my table/counter and no damage to my laptop which is nice. The zipper is only now starting to break a little bit but it still holds up for the most part. I haven’t found much use for the charging ports that come with it, but maybe someone else would. Very nice and functional backpack. Worth it in my opinion.

El precio muy bueno para la calidad de la mochila, buenos refuerzos asas, cremalleras, un montón de compartimentos, tejido bueno y el del interior muy aceptable

Nice looking backpack. Has a lot of different pockets, each spot is easy to get to. Very durable. I use mine for work, I can easily fit an extra pair of shoes inside it along with my usual collection of things I take to work. The straps are nicely padded making them comfortable on the shoulders even when it gets heavy. It also has a strap on the back so that it can be used for travelling and hooked onto the handles of rolling luggage.

Honestly, this backpack is so completely deserving of 5 stars that it makes me question other 5-star ratings I’ve given in the past — I guess you could say the bar has been raised! And I say that even as there’s one smallish detail that I personally don’t love (but you might), which I’ll come back to… but still, even more than I thought possible, I absolutely love this backpack!

To get at least a general idea of why, browse to the Austere Grey 15.6″ and check out the 7th image, actually a video. To that, I would just add…
    – There are perfect-sized mesh drink-holder type pockets on *both* sides (because why do some manufacturers skimp even on that?!)
    – The ring he hooks keys to has a quick-release button built in, as well! which also snaps really nicely back into place… It really is the little things!
    – And just to highlight, for the external USB port, there’s a built-in cable on the inside you can plug your USB charger into, which connects to the external port you can leave your phone / whatever connected to without having to open any pockets (and here again the mesh pockets on both sides comes in handy). And of and when you don’t want to use that, there’s no real downside: the built-in cable is completely out of the way, and you won’t likely even notice the external port, which BTW doesn’t appear to negate the overall “seal” of the thing either, except *maybe* if you were to hold the entire thing underwater. 🙂

The one smallish detail I would change, though, is that external port: it just happens to be USB-A while I’d prefer USB-C, for quicker charging… obviously not the hugest issue, and some might even prefer it that way. Personally, I’m seriously considering a bit of after-market “surgery” to “fix” this, which likely translates to having a pro unstitch and remove the port & internal cable, then stitch a (possibly 3D-printed?) replacement port into place. I wouldn’t normally even consider that sort of “headache,” but when the backpack overall is easily nicer than anything else I’ve found, even for 2x or 3x the price, it’s suddenly really easy to make an exception.

    What else…
    – Something like 15 pockets? Which almost sounds overboard, but it’s really not. Many are “optional” & otherwise out of the way, anyway — just really well-distributed storage goodness! Oh, and the pen holders actually (easily) fit my completely normal-sized pens, unlike the new LL Bean bag I so promptly returned after getting this one. And the “security pocket” on the bottom, the side facing you as your wear it? Absolutely genius!
    – The zippers having been what finally gave out on the 20+ year old LL Bean bag I replaced, I’m a bit more conscious now of “initial zipper quality,” and these seem just as solid as they come: totally sturdy, while also zipping surprisingly nicely & smoothly 🙂 But perhaps that’s a moot point anyway, considering the…
    – LIFETIME GUARANTEE! I hadn’t realized this until mine arrived, but there’s a card inside that says you can replace for any defect, for life!
    – The sizes refer to the size of laptop that would easily fit inside. That said, even a 17″ laptop might still fit inside my 15.6″ bag, just pretty snugly, but I wouldn’t chance it.
    – if you do a lot of traveling, you might also want to consider the max size of a “personal item” on your favorite airline(s)…
    – The 14″ is 16 x 12 x 7.5 inches
    – The 15.6″ is 18 x 12 x 7.8 inches
    – The 17″ is 19 x 13.75 x 7.8 inches
    – The 18″ is… not sure! (but apparently those can actually fit up to an 18.4″ laptop, which is huge!)

For reference, a free “personal item” on JetBlue is up to 17 x 13 x 8 inches, making even the 15.6″ technically the tiniest bit too large, but that said I’d be absolutely shocked if even the 17″ got so much as a second glance on 1/100 flights (maybe a little more likely if you’re flying on Spirit or Frontier, in which case WTH were you thinking, anyway?). In any case, the 17″ would almost certainly fit under any seat, even on the most budget of “budget” airlines.

TL;DR: I very rarely review anything, and I’m also not one to own multiple backpacks, especially not “just ’cause,” but these are so perfect, not to mention affordable, that I’ve found myself happily doing both!

Disclaimer: This backpack is not designed for anything beyond everyday use so use a larger full-body backpack for activities like hiking, long-distance foot travel/sight-seeing over several days, etc. This backpack simply will not have the space required.

However, this backpack is PERFECT for work, school, day-trips, gym, etc due to the above-average storage space, smart design and comfort. I recently purchased this item and loaded it up with the following: headphones, portable charger, umbrella, drink bottle, laptop + peripherals (mouse, attachable screen and game controller), Kindle, change of clothes, wallet, keys, phone, journal and pens. This backpack handled those items perfectly with the correct storage solutions for everything from side elastics for the drink and umbrella, pockets for the electronics, etc.

I love the concept of “backpack for security” and the ability to attach the backpack to a suitcase, lock the two main compartments which coincidentally have my most expensive items inside and hide valuables inside the anti-pickpocket pocket against your back is genius and wins this backpack some awards in my book. The backpack is also wonderfully comfortable despite being loaded up with moderately heavy/bulky items and feels light on the back which isn’t huge for someone like me who doesn’t wear it for long periods of time but if you’re going on a day-trip to the city or walking between classes at school? It’s a lifesaver.

The backpack has a charging cable that can connect to your portable charger inside the backpack which is great for charging on the go and also comes with lifetime warranty if you register it which is a nice added bonus and speaks to their faith in the construction and durability of the product.

Overall, for the price? This backpack is an absolute steal.

This backpack was purchased for my first spring semester at college this year. If you’re looking for something with a sturdy variety of pockets then this is the backpack for you! The many pockets are a great feature. I can take my wallet, 13” MacBook, 3 heavy textbooks, phone, and other supplies if needed. It has 3 big sections, which come in handy for my laptop and books. I feel that it is roomy enough to take just what I need. There is a hidden pocket in the back and a couple in the front. The zippers seem sturdy enough and fine (Although, I wouldn’t tug on them too hard with Hulk strength, haha!) There isn’t much else to say because this backpack is of great quality, I can feel the texture as well, it’s smooth and you can tell it’s waterproof, which is an added plus. It’s a decent size overall, and it fits comfortably on my back (I haven’t even adjusted the straps yet!) I chose the pretty minty/blueish-green color. The picture matches the product as well. Worth the buy! 🙂

Great Backpack. For Traver, School, business. It fits so much stuff! Pockets are great to separate a lot of things for quick and easy access. The strap across the back for slipping over luggage handle is so handy. My 16″ laptop fit in with no problem at all. Larger sizes can fit. Zippers nice and sturdy. Material is durable and can be easily wiped off.
Love that theres a separate large area away from laptop also.
    Love it.

Ai primi utilizzi è molto comodo, sembra anche resistente. Non lo uso per il PC, ma ha molte tasche utili e ben divise. Per adesso ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

This backpack may be small, but it punches way above its weight class. It’s like the perfect sidekick—always there, never in the way, and somehow holds way more than it should.

Keys? Wallet? Charger? All fit. Random stuff I pick up throughout the day? Still fits. At this point, I’m convinced it has a secret pocket dimension because I’ve crammed way too much into it, and it just keeps going.

It’s lightweight, comfortable, and doesn’t make me feel like I’m hauling a full survival kit just to leave the house. And the best part? It’s small enough to forget I’m even wearing it, until I reach back and boom—everything I need, right there.

Would I replace it? Nope. It’s been through daily use, questionable weather, and my bad habit of tossing it anywhere, and it still looks solid.

9/10, my back thanks me daily.
