   I love this crock pot! It’s the perfect size for me to use for meal prep. the lid fits perfectly. It looks perfect on my counter alongside my other appliances. The heat levels are adjustable with a lo, hi, and keep warm. The crock inside is heavy duty and can be removed for serving and other purposes.

   I have a 6 Qt that was too big and a 1 qt that was too small, so I got this and it’s ……just right…..as the three bears say! Love it. Would have liked digital and auto shut off or to warm, but for this price, can’t be beat.

   This crockpot is a staple in my kitchen. Soups, stews, and pot roast all cooked to perfection. I throw in the ingredients and go. Simple and convenient. The size is perfect when cooking for two to four people.

   After hours of working through the ‘retarded’ search filters and contradictory reviews I chose this and ordered a rheostat along with it to control the low setting as many complaints were of ‘boiling at low’. Good idea/wasted money as there was no problem with that as even the high setting produced only a simmer (197°) around the edges. I’ve cooked 3 different vegetable stews (veg;lentil;bean) and the high setting is all I need to work with so I won’t/can’t say anything about the low setting or warm.
   I immediately found that it is very slow to get there so the ‘get hot’ time needs boosting. I turn the pot on high, take the crockery insert out and put it in the sink with the hottest water until the pot is hot, then replace the insert and to start cooking. I’ve also heated the insert and assembled the ingredients in it before replacing it into the main pot.
   My only concern now is how long it will last.

   I bought this for a white elephant Christmas game and I was a bit nervous because reviews didn’t have photos of the box and in the past I have been burned by unknowingly buying a nice gift in a plain box. But this slow cooker has the box you would expect if you were buying it off a store shelf and shows exactly what it is. I carefully opened the box up to make sure the appliance is in good shape and it is! I know it’s going to be a hit this year. It’s also the prettiest I have seen and the price is unbeatable. I’m so glad I found this 4qt and didn’t settle for a 2 qt in another brand for the same price.

   4 qt slow cooker holds about 3 quarts of liquid. I ended up trading this in for the 6 qt model which holds 4.5 qts of liquid. Beautiful, basic, easy to use slow cooker.
