   For starters, I can not get my hair to curl with a curling iron (any kind) to save my life and those who can have to work really hard to make it work let alone hold for any period of time. THIS THING!!! This thing worked for me! It was fairly easy to use with very little learning curve to make it perfect. I got the perfect beachy wave going on and it lasted all day long!!! I know others were able to get more curl from it but I haven’t played with it much to see if it will do that for me. But, for beachy waves it definitely worked perfectly!

   I have short, fine hair, and the TYMO Rovy Compact Waver works amazingly well! It creates beautiful waves that hold all day, which is rare for my hair type. It’s super simple to use, lightweight, and heats up quickly. I wish I had bought it sooner—it’s an absolute game-changer! If you’re on the fence, I can’t recommend it enough!

   I read a lot of reviews before I purchased this. And boy I’m glad I did! A lot of reviews say negative things about the smell, but I really haven’t noticed that. Maybe the first time because it was brand new? But this product is so amazing. I have fine but thick blonde bleached hair. I use the setting at 360°, 4 seconds and it’s plenty! It takes me maybe 10 minutes to do my hair which is a few inches below my shoulders. I get lots of compliments and the curls do stay but I have to freshen them up each morning. Highly recommend. Probably my favorite tool in my hair tool drawer.

   I’m super impressed with this beach wave curler! It arrived safely, well-packaged with zero damage. I went with the 1.25 inch option, which is pretty big—great for longer hair like mine, but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it for shorter styles just because of how wide the barrel is.

   What blew me away is how wicked fast it heats up—seriously, it hits full temperature in under 2 minutes, which is the fastest I’ve ever seen with any curler. It’s really easy to turn on and operate, though the technique takes a little getting used to. With a bit of practice, though, the results are amazing.

   Now I’m really curious to try the 1 inch version—seems like it would be perfect for travel, and maybe even a better fit for shorter hair. Overall, this is a high-quality tool that delivers beautiful, effortless waves. Definitely recommend!

   Had been contemplating paying a small fortune to get my hair done as it’s a real victim of perimenopause and in need of some help. I’d seen the ads for this product and figured I’d give it a try. So glad I did as it’s fantastic.
   I’m not the best with hair stylers but this was so easy to use and the end result was more than expected. My hair had more volume and looked amazing. I’ve had so many compliments and would definitely recommend it.
   The heat setting and timer are easy to use and enable you to personalise it to your hair type. It is big but gets the job done quicker and if I had shorter hair, I’d invest in the compact smaller one but I’ve hair a little past my shoulders. Price wise, it’s great as it would have cost me 4/5 times what I paid at the hairdressers.
   First time I did my hair, I used a silk bonnet to sleep in and my hair stayed in great condition for three days so recommend that in addition. Very happy overall

    I set the temperature on this according to the manufacturer’s instructions. It gets very hot near the scalp so caution there. I got some nice waves, but my hair became pretty frizzy unfortunately even though it’s in great condition (I don’t use heat on it very often).

    The strangest thing though was the next day when I washed my hair I couldn’t figure out what the strange smell was in my shower/around my head. Finally I took a section of hair and smelled it and it literally smelled like (of all things) old cooked brussel sprouts.
    It’s been 3 days and it still smells faintly of that even though I’ve washed it twice. It doesn’t smell as bad when it’s dry only when it’s wet. But that was a surprise I didn’t anticipate.

    I obviously didn’t have this issue before I used the crimping iron.

    Because it left my hair frizzy and then smelling strange, I’m returning it. I have no idea what caused this, but the product over all wasn’t really worth it for me even with the odd “Brussel sprout scent” upon getting it wet.

    Pros: it gets really hot, it has a handy timer and it gives good waves, but be careful near your scalp.

    I have the type of hair that’s really curly in the back but straight on top and it’s a nightmare to style so I always wear it up
    Well, this tool is AMAZING. It takes me 10 mins to style my hair in the morning now. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Worth every penny! It beeps at you when you should release, and you can change the timer on it. It also takes seconds to heat up. The quality is amazing and it holds the curls all day long without much spray.

    I really debated between the compact and the larger sizer size. Since my hair is short I went with compact.
    The pics are from me opening and deciding to try it out before I got a shower. I didn’t intend to do all of my hair but once I started I decided to finish. Having never used it before, I think it turned out pretty good. My daughter thought I had gotten a perm.
    Start to finish it took me about 10 mins to do my entire head. I have very fine hair and I used on the lowest heat setting.
    Since I was just testing it out, I didn’t put a lot of effort into making sure it looked really good or that hasn’t missed any straight pieces but even with that in mind I don’t think it will take me much longer for a finished look.
    Im still considering purchasing the larger size for more of a wave and less curl look.
    Overall I’m happy with my purchase. This will be an easy way to change up my style without a lot of work.
