Product Description

  • ACCURATE: More sensors = More accuracy. Conventional stud finders have 1 or 2 sensors. The ProSensor M90 has 9, making it the most accurate stud sensing tool on the market. The ProSensor M90 has a max detection depth of 1.5″. The LEDs track the location of studs while displaying the center and edges simultaneously.
  • EASY: One mode finds it all! The ProSensor M90 adjusts for a variety of depths, materials and textures. No calibration required. Press and hold the button to begin scanning. Unlike other stud sensors that give false readings, the ProSensor M90 allows you to start scanning anywhere, even over a stud.
  • DISPLAYS FULL STUDS: The ProSensor M90 displays the center and edges of studs simultaneously, showing single studs, double studs, and irregular configurations that other stud finders cannot detect. Works through drywall/sheetrock and more!
  • DURABLE: #1 Rated by consumers and professionals, the ProSensor M90 stud finder is both accurate and durable.
  • MORE INFO: Uses common AAA batteries. Is NOT compatible with rechargeable batteries.

  1. Steve

After searching on-line for a stud finder, this one is the most accurate. It’s easy to use as it lights up when it detects one. The light will turn green in the middle when it’s the middle of a stud. It’s way more accurate than the Zipcon HD55, whereas that one will show a 3-4″ gap from each edge of a stud to the middle. No calibration needed for this one, just turn on by pressing the middle black button and just start moving. I’ve scanned over several studs and it always gave a accurate reading.

Great Stud Finders. Honestly one of the best bang for your buck tool. I purchased this for $29.99 and it tells me exactly what I need; the center of the stud. It also has the LED lights indicating the approximate width of the stud itself as well. MUST BUY for any home project.

  3. Humsab

Easy to use, detects wall stud even on plaster walls. Very Impressive. Ready to use right out of the box. Family owned company is a plus.

  4. Spiro

Have used this a few times now & it is great at identifying exact location of studs.
It got a little confused one time (all lights illuminating across the wall). However, when used on the opposite side of wall it worked perfectly – so maybe there was something setting it off. Overall very pleased & would recommend over cheaper less accurate items.

  5. Michael Fisher

Brilliant little tool…accurate, time saving and helps get the job done! Wish I’d discovered this years ago!! No more guesswork/wrecked walls!

  6. The Doctor (Brad)

Used mostly around the house to hang pictures and other things, super accurate and easy to use

  7. Tina Hackett

This one really works. Simple to use and on the money. Worth every penny.

  8. Jim T.

When it decides to work properly, it’s pretty good. However, it appears to go spastic at random intervals and produce wildly inaccurate results. I’ve developed a technique, of sorts, to work around the spurious readings. In my opinion, the technology is mature enough, at this late date, that “point & click” usability is a reasonable expectation. I’d give 2.5 stars if that were possible.

  9. Jh

The Franklin Sensors ProSensor M90 Stud Finder is hands down one of the best tools I’ve ever purchased for home projects! With its 9 sensors, it provides incredibly accurate and precise readings when detecting both wood and metal studs. I used it to mount shelves and hang pictures, and it worked like a charm every time. The light bar shows you exactly where the stud is, making it easy to find and mark the perfect spot.

What I love most about this stud finder is how quick and simple it is to use. You don’t have to worry about calibrating it or making multiple passes—just run it across the wall, and it instantly detects the studs. It also works great on both drywall and plaster walls, so I don’t have to worry about switching between tools for different surfaces.

The Made in the USA quality gives me confidence in its durability and performance. It feels solid and well-built, and the ergonomic design makes it comfortable to hold and easy to maneuver.

If you’re looking for a reliable, easy-to-use stud finder that gets the job done right the first time, I highly recommend the ProSensor M90. It’s a game-changer for anyone working on home improvement projects.

  10. Wolf J. Flywheel

Stud finder really works good on the walls. (old or new homes) Good gift for husband or father.

  11. Carlos

Press the button, finds the stud. Let’s show the exact width of the stud as well. Excellent tool and much more accurate than others I have used in the past. Highly recommended.

  12. Sup Bala

Used it to wall mount a 55 inch Television. Somewhat hard to find the middle of the strut but managed it with difficulty.
Its an ok product. It works

  13. Brendan Patullo

Do exactly what the description said, good value for money, easy for use, functionality near to perfect, real accuracy, no to loud. I recommend it.
