I really love this little printer. Even though you can only print 4×6….it’s perfect. Was going to go with HP……Glad I didn’t because their cost of refill cartridges is ridiculous and they always try to loop you into some stupid subscription. The cost of printing for the Kodak and refill cartridges is really really cheap. $0.30 a print. I don’t know what some people with reviews are talking about with not getting the proper amount of prints before cartridge runs out? I’m on my second cartridge and I’m past 40 prints already. However, the ONLY complaint I have is the software needs to be better. Was a little disappointed on the folders that it couldn’t access, despite giving full permissions for application. Setup was easy. Printing is easy. Highly recommend.

This printer works really well! It takes a little time to print a photo and it lays down the colors in layers and then it laminates the photo afterwards. But after this process the photo looks just like any picture that you would get from any photo printer. It’s worth it for what we need it for. My mom likes to print photos to send to her best friend who lives far away. This is perfect for that. She doesn’t have to use a computer, she just uses her phone, the app connects automatically to her phone through our network and she can print things right from the gallery on her phone. The app is pretty easy to use. So I recommend this printer. It’s really good for the money that you spend on it, it’s a small compact size, and it’s easy for my older mother to manage on her own.

Update: After over an hour of struggling with this machine, I finally decided to try one piece of paper at a time, and surprise, it worked! It’s a little annoying to have to do this, but the pictures came out perfectly. I’ve changed my rating from one star to 4 stars.
Positives:
1. Easy to use. Instructions aren’t great, but it’s very easy to figure out without good instructions. Once you connect with bluetooth, it tells you what to do.
2. With the new firmware update (mine was two years old), I don’t have to plug in my iPhone to the device (I did two years ago). It works great with bluetooth.
3. The pictures are a decent quality. Not perfect, like you get from a professional, but good enough.
4. It’s very inexpensive, but not cheaply made.
5. It’s very small. It comes apart for storage and takes up very little space.
Con:
Only one – and a problem I didn’t have when it was new, now I can only load one sheet of paper at a time. When it was new I could load 40 sheets, as directed in the instructions. For some reason, that doesn’t work anymore. But it’s a minor problem. Overall, still a great little printer.

I bought this printer two years ago, April 28, 2022. I printed 10 pictures with it, then didn’t use it again until today, February 14, 2025.
After updating the software, opening a brand new package of Kodak paper 4 x 6 inch and placing it properly in the tray, and inserting a brand new, unopened Kodak Photo Printer Cartridge, also 4 x 6 inch, it won’t print. I get “Photo Paper Unrecognition” response. The paper is properly placed in the tray, with shiny side facing up and Kodak logo on bottom. I’ve readjusted it several time. Both the paper and cartridge were in sealed packages, brand new. I ordered extra when I purchased this printer two years ago. I’m extremely disappointed in this product.

The power on button is not working and is not being clicked. We ordered a replacement too but it got same issue. Finally had to refund. We were really disappointed with the product and expected better from Kodak.
