I have several of these and have been on a quest to find one that works the best. I believe I have found it in this AMMZO thermometer. It is accurate and easy to use. It comes with an extra 2032 battery. There is a good instruction pamphlet and a great little guide for temperatures to cook meat to the level of doneness desired. And it has a built in magnet, although I am unable to use that in my stainless steel kitchen. It also has Velcro to connect it to a surface. But I have a convenient place to put it when not in use. So, I won’t use those. My only question is that in the operating instruction pamphlet it says: “Do not leave the unit inside an oven, grill, smoker or microwave while cooking….”. This is the only mention of microwave. The Amazon page doesn’t mention the ability to use this in a microwave oven. And because of the metal, I wouldn’t think you could. So, I’m confused about the mention in the operating instructions.

I recently purchased this digital meat thermometer with an LED screen after my favorite thermometer broke. I was doubtful that I would like a different thermometer or get used to another one after using mine for over a decade, but I was wrong. This thermometer is perfect! It’s easy to use, easy to read, and accurate.
One of the standout features is the optional LED screen, which displays the temperature clearly even in low light conditions. This has been especially helpful during my evening barbecues and dinner preparations.
The accuracy of this thermometer is impressive. It provides quick and precise readings, allowing me to ensure that my meats are cooked to perfection every time.
Additionally, the design is user-friendly, you just simply pull down the thermometer and it turns on. It has a magnetic back so you have different options when it comes to storage. It’s portable and runs on a battery that’s provided.
Overall, I highly recommend this digital meat thermometer. Its combination of ease of use, readability, and accuracy makes it an essential kitchen tool that I now can’t imagine cooking without!
