These were purchased so I could get rid of some wasps that were taking over my yard. We found some nests we got rid of, but I realized multiple types of wasps were coming around. The last time I was stung by a wasp- I had a moderate reaction, so I was getting nervous being outside. After 2 days we did have a wasp land on the strip. We also had a few lizards and flies. It also helped to deter some wasps from the yard-as I feel like less were flying around once I put it up.
It was easy to put together and to hang.
After some of the critters had died on the sticky strip- did realize a smell coming from it.
I can’t say it has cured my wasp problem as just today I have seen 2 more wasps and it’s been up for a week.
So it does work, but the cons are the extra critters it catches besides wasp and the smell that happens from those- as well as it will catch wasps, but not necessarily cure your wasp problem.

These work wonderfully. Using these are inexpensive and uses no CHEMICALS. WE HAVE hummingbird feeders and the wasps over took them. Once we put these up, that problem was eliminated. Now we use them by the front door to make our entrance comfortable.

This is a Mud Dauber magnet! I had two of these set up on opposite ends of my home and they were continually catching Mud Daubers. By the time I took them down, they were quite covered with them. They did not prove to be effective for other wasps for me. I tend to have red wasps on and around my home, but this trap maybe trapped 3-5 red wasps total between my two traps. I do not have many if any carpenter bees around my home, so I cannot speak on the effectiveness for that species. I did not have any carpenter bees on my traps.

Ordered last four years. I believe they really work as we have had less wasp flying around over the years. We put up Memorial Day. Easy to put up and extremely sticky.

I didn’t have much faith this would work last year when I put them out. I had carpenter bees, mud daubers & hornets infesting my house. I even paid hundreds to an exterminator. Nothing worked until this product. I set it near where they lived and it slowly filled up with tons of bugs over the course of the first few months.. then, suddenly, no bugs at all. It killed everything. It was even more effective than a bug zapper. Buy this, it works.

These traps work better than anything I’ve tried to reduce wasps. I live in an area with 9 different types of wasps and hornets so it’s a constant battle between them and me in my yard. These attract wasps really well and the sticky pads remain effective for a good amount of time.

I have had a huge wasp (bald faced hornet) problem since I bought my house 10 years ago. They come back every year and I can never find the nest. I have tried the fake wasp nests. The ones that look like honey pots. The ones with the clear plastic bag and would catch 2 to 3 wasps max all summer. I bought this having very low expectations since nothing else ever worked but was willing to try anything because there are easily 100 wasps buzzing around all day. I have had this up 2 weeks and it has at least 50 wasps on it and I haven’t seen a single live one flying around since I put it up. It seems like they are immediately attracted to this thing. I rarely leave reviews but I had to for this because it works so well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

We had a wasp problem in the back on the upper deck and on the patio. Once bugs land on this there is no getting off. This will catch anything, wasps, hornet & bees. We have already purchased 2 more for next year. The wasp problem was pretty bad last year but we’ve had none flying around this year and the trap is quite full.
