I bought this set for a new induction stove after looking at many. I’m very happy with this brand. . They cook food evenly, comfortable handles and nicely balanced. I do like the see through lids. Pleased with my choice!

I previously bought a 1 qt pot from Tratmontina and absolutely loved it. So when I went in search of a 2 qt pot, I turned to Tratmontina again.
This pot is a great pot, with even heating and convenient spouts, but it’s not really a 2 qt pot. It will hold 2 qts if you fill it up all the to way to the brim, which no sane cook would ever do. The etched measuring lines on the inside go up to 1.75 qt, which is a better indication of how much stuff you can really cook in this. I kinda needed the actual 2 qt capacity so I’m a little disappointed.

This is a good pot in this price range. I own many other types of pots of different qualities and price points and this one is probably in the middle range of quality. The bottom is a good solid bottom base as it is tri-ply. However, you can tell that the sides and handle don’t seem as “heavy” or thick quality as the rest of the pot. I can tell the different from my other stainless pots from other brands. The top lid is a flat shape vs. the other slightly dome shaped lid. I did not find any issue with it, but it’s just an aesthetics thing I noticed. Nonetheless it is a solid tempered glass lid that is nice and sturdy.
The pot has two water pouring spouts on the top rim for ease of pouring water. When boiling water, I did notice that the steam will come out through those spouts when the water is boiling.
I’ve also tried using this as a steamer by putting the bamboo steamers on top of it and it works. The steam does come out of the spouts as well when the water is simmering. So just note to not put any hands near those spouts as steam does come out from there and could burn yourself.
The inside of the pot holds a good amount of water and even includes measurement markings on the inside.
It was easy to clean the pot. I just used a non scratching sponge with warm water and some dish soap In the in care instructions you can put this in the dishwasher, but it says it will last longer being hand washed and to only cook this pot to no higher than medium heat.
