The price is right and they are doing what I need, but these tools are insanely sharp. I cut my hand in two places just removing them from the packaging. It is somewhat understandable that the measuring point be sharp, but there is no reason for the entire tool set to have sharp and unbroken edges.

My only complaint is the hinge point gets lose. For what I need it for it needs to be tight and kinda hard to adjust. A little 2lb hammer action and it fixed the problem. Priced right!!

The ends of the calipers flex and so it doesn’t close down all the way on the item your measuring. It flexs back about 1/8″ more open than when you had closed it down with your hands. I had to send it back due to this inaccuracy.

I’m taking a sculpture class and this product was recommended. After washing the oil off, and using them for a few days, I’m finding that I really like them. They are strong, and firm. They are firm to adjust which makes it so easy to use them while they hold and don’t move out of measurement. I set the measure and can simply use them without worry. No added fuss. Great value, fast delivery and easy to use. I should have ordered them sooner, but I’ve signed up for another class, Antelope, and will really need these. 5 stars.

There are no measurements on the calipers, no way to tell the size of what you are measuring without a ruler or measuring tape, utterly defeating the purpose of this product.
